Historic Aviation Museum

The Historic Aviation Museum is located on the grounds of Tyler Pounds Field Airport. The purpose of the museum is to develop an aviation museum where people can view, interact with, and research any aviation information they desire. It is just across the street from Spring Creek RV Resort in Tyler, Texas.

Included in the National Register of Historic Places, the 1904 Carnegie Library building today serves as the Society's museum and archives. Exhibits feature artifacts reflecting Smith County's historic, social and economic culture, including the Indian, Republic of Texas, Civil War and 20th Century eras. FREE admission!
